It's actually .92 set by George Hainsworth in 1928-1929.
You can click on this link for all the NHL records.

Yes, but that's only over two games. I'm sure that will go down as he progresses through the playoffs and faces some stiffer competition. Watching him in those games it's almost like he saying, "My sons problem is taken care of, now let's play hockey", which he did........in style.
The guy was like 36-10-8 during the regular season with a 2.26GAA and .918 SV%. It's a shame that he didn't get to play in the first few games of this series, but, some things are more important then hockey. This guy is the number one goalie on the team and one of the biggest reasons the team did so well this year. _________________

Yes, montreal, but like I said, it has only been two games. If he had played the whole series it probably would have been higher.
BTW, GAA does lie......It's the save percentage that doesn't lie. _________________

One of the best GAA books is Breandán Ó hEithir’s Over the Bar, which was published twenty-six years ago, to coincide with the GAA’s centenary. It is extremely doubtful if the book received an imprimatur from Croke Park as the curmudgeonly Ó hEithir was nobody’s insider and called things like he saw them, a sure fire way to make enemies at any time in Ireland. But Ó hEithir’s great love for the games shines through and the book is an essential testament to what the GAA was like in its formative years and what the people were like to built it, before the days of corporate sponsorship, games development officers or celebrity management who don’t get paid at all, oh no, love of the game, that’s what it’s all about, love of the game. Just cover me petrol, like.
