Ray Emery punches the team trainer after being pulled for letting in 5 goals. The trainer was trying to get him to wear a hat of a team sponsor and Emery didn't want to do it.

I hope his career comes to an end, he's a 10 year old trapped in a mans body. He just doesn't get it.

The big thing here is we don't actually know what's going on there. Sure, he's not letting the trainer put a sponsers hat on him, but we don't know what the trainer said to him. At the start of the video it looks like the trainer is getting up in Emery's face. I don't like Emery, but give him a chance. There's another side to this story that we don't know.

Regardless, that's not how you deal with the situation. You're supposed to be a professional. He could have just turned around and sat down and ignored the guy.

When you have the best stats of any goalie in the league you're in and you just got pulled from a game, you're already super pissed. At that point the trainer should have enough common sense to leave you alone for a few minutes to let you cool down and give you that hat to wear after. He didn't have to push matters by trying to put the hat on Emery himself.

Oh I agree that's not right on the trainers part, but it's even worse that Emery plays the baby and throws a little spazz.

He's decent at best. His ego and bad work ethic take away from his on ice ability.

Again, we don't know the other side of the story, so we can't judge what actually went on. It kinda looks like the trainer was trying to show him how to put the hat on.......a little sideways like the rappers. If that's the case, it could be taken as a racial slur towards Emery. Throw something like that in there and it could look like the trainer deserves to get the crap pounded out of him.
It's all speculation until we hear both sides of the story.

Yeah, decent for the NHL. He's an all star anywhere else.
