| Brody or Roy? |

I've declined to vote as I didn't see the best goalie ever to lace them up on there... I mean honestly, what kind of a poll is this if it didn't include FutureSuperstar???
Now, I can't vote for Roy as he was a Canadian. And I can't vote for Brodeur cuz my friend thinks he's soooo great...
So I'll say I've always liked Fuhr. _________________ random spelling mistakes added on purpose to annoy those that are annoyed by it. |

How can you say Hasek was the biggest showboater? You've got the biggest one in Roy in there already. Also how did he showboat?
Also congrats Marty on beating Roy! _________________ http://www.youtube.com/user/JustVeejProductions

| Hasek routinely somehow managed to throw his glove off while making one of his "snowangel" saves. How does a professional goaltender A)Throw his catcher off and B) end up lying down, legs in the net, back on the ice and make a save. Come on, standup reactionary or not...that's still showboating. Really? His glove? wow... |

He never through his glove (well he through his blocker at Bondra) it was his stick. Also if your talented enough to stop pucks on your back facing up then why not?
Statue of Liberty anyone? How is that not showboating? _________________ http://www.youtube.com/user/JustVeejProductions

| I'm not saying it isn't showboating. Roy, Brodeur, Hasek and any other great goalie that's ever been has been a showboat. It's part of our personality. |

Roy's statue of liberty without the puck is one of the finest moments in sporting history. _________________ Because it hurts so good.

| Oh my god! Saddest moment of my life. He was my biggest idol at that time....the worst part was that it slid out, rolled off of him and towards the goal where it was just lightly tapped in. So pathetic. Wasn't that in a playoff game? |

Gainy needs to play Halak. At least they can rely on him to consistently try. Which brings me to, WHY CAN'T HUET GET NO LOVE?! Montreal trades him away for a rookie. He plays great in Washington and they decide to let him go and pick up THEODORE instead... did they get that tip from their crack dealer? And now he's 2nd fiddle to Khabibulin who has been inconsistent and under-performing since the 03-04 season. Colorado fans would trade the farm for a goalie that can actually stop the puck... hell they'd trade the farm just for a goalie who can think he stopped the puck, and hold his glove up in the air as the puck dribbles into the net! _________________ Because it hurts so good.

Jerk.
You know what really sucks about that? The announcers actually pointed out last week when they were playing that every shot on net that doesn't rebound out, Raycroft looks over his shoulder to see if it went in the net. How sad is that? Our goalies have NO confidence in themselves. Hell I think they'd trade the farm for Legace who's in the AHL again. Give us Clemmensen! |

Pesky trade deadline....
Nah, they need a big center before they need another goalie. Halak and Price both have enough potential to win a cup down the road, Halak just needs to develop his game more, and Price has to be pushed. Montreal just needs to foster some competition between them. Tell them, "Whoever has the best practices will get the starts. If you don't play well in your start, you're sitting. If you do play well, you get more starts." This whole, Price is the future, and Halak, you're just there until we can get Carey playing like we know he can... not going to do it. _________________ Because it hurts so good.
