In the poll select what you think, and also post your answer of what you think.
Personally I think if he was given another chance I think he could run away with the starting position. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/user/JustVeejProductions

No. He hasn’t been tested enough. Maybe next season, at the earliest. _________________

| He's been in the AHL for years and doesn't step up when he gets called up, so possibly not. |

Jimmy Howard is at best a number 3 or 4 goalie. He will be a life long minor league player. He is one of the rare mistakes made by Ken Holland. Unfortunately, I think McCollum will prove to be a bust as well. |

McCollum was a HUGE bust for the Americans in the world juniors aswell. _________________

Conklin needs to work on his fundamentals a little more, but the last game i saw him in, he had some very good rebound control. This post season will be interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if Osgood starts, he goes Hasek and gets himself pulled, and then Conklin does an Osgood and the Wings take him to a cup. _________________ Because it hurts so good.

| Why ditch Conklin? He's an extremely solid goalie and just needs to work on a couple things. He's still young and you want to get rid of something moldable and trainable to pick up Thomas? |

Becuase he's not a starting goalie and that's what Detroit's been missing for a long time. A true starting goalie. They haven't had one since Hasek in 01-02. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/user/JustVeejProductions

I don’t think that would be good for the wings playoffs performance. _________________

| Give it up on Hasek already...he wasn't a starter his last season either. Osgood was an excellent starter and proved that fact for a long time. I think that Conklin is more than capable to do the job that the Wings are looking for. Steve Mason wasn't a starter either FYI. |
