| I'm thinking the next great goalie will be Johnson from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. His first name escapes me right now, it might be Craig or Greg. If you get the chance to watch him play, you'll see what I'm talking about. |

Everyone gets beat from time to time. Would you agree that the best goalies are the ones that don't get beat on the routine plays, whatever that means. I saw that game too, even though he lost, he was tough to beat and played well. His future looks bright. If I was a GM of a team looking for goaltending, and he was available, (Blue Jackets have his rights I think), I would give him a long look. |

One thing i've learned is that every goalie will make insane saves from time to time... the best goalies are definitely the ones that make the routine save every time, as long as their worth ethic is there, every goalie will dive through the air and make the outstanding save here and there... although the greats do seem to do that more often than the others too.... _________________ Because it hurts so good.

| Oh no, that's not at all what I meant, I meant he was playing extremely well and Michigan just got a few great shots past him. That's what it took to score though was great shots. I'm really hoping to see him around in the league soon. |

Howard COULD have been a No. 1. He still could be, but they've strung him along for way too long. I don't wanna hear that he isn't shredding the AHL anymore......How long do you expect him to give his all when he's not getting a fair shake. Over the years, when he HAS been called up(other than this year), he has had many shining moments. The Wings care so damn much about stocking up on top notch skaters, and try to patchwork their goaltender situation. The right call is to let Hossa go elsewhere, and pry a TOP NOTCH KEEPER away. In this situation, they'll only score 3-4 goals a game, instead of 4-5, but they'll be able to hold teams to 1-2 a game. But we all know the Wings will sign a Giguere type on his decline. Just a pity to watch this great squad with such inadequate goaltending. _________________ 6'3", 220 lbs, 76" wingspan. |

the wings aren't sold on him. yesterday holland said on air that they had signed 3 minor league prospects this year alone, basically hoping taht 1 of them will turn into a decent starter. _________________ Because it hurts so good.
