Jason LaBarbera to the Vancouver Canucks!

Good timing, Sanford pulled a groin, Luongo's out, and Corey Schneider needs to go back to the farm to play again.

Good for the Canucks. Labarbera is wayyy better than Sanford. He will probably be released at some point. Shneider still needs alot of work in the farm

Schneider was my favorite goalie to play at Boston College. I don't know why he isn't playing well at the NHL level. He was doing amazing with the Moose.

AHL is no where near the NHL speed. Plus nerves, I believe.

A .945 in the AHL should translate so something decent in the NHL. I guess he's just not ready

ya he just seemed nervous and jumpy and didn't really seem like he believed he should be there.

On the other side labarbara stopped 31 of 32 in his debut against nashville. Canucks win 2-1

I watched Schneider play against the Toronto Marlies in Manitoba, he looked NHL ready to me, and that was only a couple months ago..

Barbie Doll is a good tender...when he's on. He's maddeningly hot and cold. He will dominate one game, then get lit up the next. Hopefully he finds some consistency behind the Canucks, who are a much better defensive team than the Kings...

Yeah consistency is important. But really you could probably say the same thing for Sanford. This is why they are Back Up goalies. Smile Great goalies, but not all the time. Smile
