I never heard of the guy until a week ago. In the past week he has had two of the biggest saves of the year. I like his form, I think he may be one of those sleepers.

Watch, he's got two of ten in the last week's best saves!

He's not all that unknown, he has just been a career back up/journeyman.

Vokoun's backup, had a game last year where Florida won 1-0 against NY Islanders and Anderson made 52 saves I believe for the shutout.

Ya he's a pretty solid backup. I was surprised when Chicago gave up on him

He's simply never been given a legitmate chance to be a starter. I don't think this guy's a flash in the pan. From the little I've seen of him so far he seems to use his large frame VERY well.

yeah he's real solid in net. i was very impressed by his play. hopefully he can keep it up so that when it comes to contract time he won't have any problems getting an ice deal either with florida or elsewhere.

The Avs have a great team with a fair amount of Depth which is surprising considering a year ago "depth" hadn't been discovered by the human race according to them. They're young and their biggest downfall right now is penalties but with Anderson standing between the pipes, I can see a great year for the Avs far removed from the embarrassing finish last year.

He faced 42 shots allowing 1 goal and killing off 7 penalties including 10 seconds of a 5 on 3. He's great and a perfect addition the Avs. Hopefully when all the injuries heal up they'll be a top team this year no doubt carried mostly by Anderson
