He played great in his first two games (wins), but nobody mentions them. They beat Florida and Ottawa with their full team, and lost when they played their rookies. Preseason is for rookies. If we based everything off the preseason, and the play of AHL players and prospects, then the leafs would be contenders to win the cup. _________________

It wouldn't be half as fun if I didn't get such emotional responses. FTR - If we went by preseason statistics, Nashville would be incredible with their 3-0 record (which as I checked earlier today had them sitting 2nd in their conference). |

Your mom.
Good game against Boston tonight, too bad they lost, but it was a good game. _________________

Price is gonna do fine. There all getting used to playing together and its just the preseason. He got 2 shutouts in 2 games at camp this year so im really sure he'll do just fine this season. The Habs did play great last night but Rask did an amazing job in nets.. Desharnais played amazingly. _________________

BURNZO!
My brother is getting rattled by that. I've reminded him anytime he says something. |

Yeah, Price had a bad game. Actually, the whole team had a bad first and third period. The only time they showed any jump was in the second period....and at that time Bobby Lui was in perfect form most of the time. Edmonton is coming up on the weekend. Hopefully Montreal gets a better effort from all 4 lines and for all 3 periods.
On another note....Montreal signed Marc Andre Bergeron to a one year deal yesterday. This should shore up the defence a little until Markov gets back....hopefully. _________________

That's how I've felt every year the Preds make the playoffs... and choke in the first round. |

I don't think price had a terrible game. Shots vs Goal ratio means nothing if the goals are good goals. The team sucked though. Put Lou in Price's position and the score would be at least 5-1. _________________

The thing is, there was no team in front of him that game. They completely let him down, so really, he didnt play all that bad. And there wasnt much he could do with those goals. _________________
