I could still see Brodeur coming back and beating Roy's record in the last few weeks of the season. I'm hoping at least Very Happy

yeah, once he is back from surgery he will most likely beat it. if he recovers okay.

As a Habs and a Roy fan all my life, I still want to see Brodeur break the record. Most people are probably going to ask why so I'll give it to you straight.
How bad will it look on Bettman if one of the record holding goalies also uses the smallest gear in the NHL? That would make his argument that smaller gear will lead to higher scores look absolutely ridiculous. Wink

My favorite goalie ever? Roy, my second favorite...Brodeur...obviously. It's not like he's done playing forever...and I'm sure when he comes back he'll be as good as he ever was. He'll break Roy's records. Even with smaller gear.
