I came across this article written about the Bruins Tim Thomas. I love the first part of this article talking about Thomas' "style"...
Figured I'd post this since I know there's a few Bruins fans kicking around, and well, I just thought it was a great article.

Thomas getting snubbed on the ballot was ridiculous, it doesn't make sense, at all. He had a .921 sv%, saved the Bruins tons of game (lost a couple for them), was the winning goalie in last years all star game after being put on the ballot by the fans, and finished 9th in Vezina voting last season. And they took 10 Eastern Confrence goalies to be on the ballot, including guys like Kari Lehtonen.
I've seen Thomas play live once as a Boston Bruin, and 5 or 6 times with the Providence Bruins. He is fun to watch. He is very athletic and quick, and what stood out to me the first time I saw him was that he could go down and up in the blink of an eye. |

I've gotta agree with this. He absolutely should've been on the ballot. I don't see very much of him (with being in Western Canada), but from the odd time I do get to watch him, and for as much as I see him on highlight reels, he's a far better goaltender than he's being given credit for. A couple weeks ago when the Bruins were in town to take on the Oilers, I watched the game, and Thomas was just unreal. And then for him to turn around the next night and do the same thing to the Canucks was incredible. _________________ <Helmet: Olie>

| I don't get how he's even rated under guys like Turco or DiPietro, when their sv% are around .905 every season and his is .920 |

No need to fear bruins fans, Tomas is in third place on the easten confrence as far as votes. He has 17 456 votes so far. _________________

Good, not getting on the ballot even would be an added slap in the face in addition to his terrible paycheck |
