What's in a review????

Stupid question, right? Not really though.......especially if you read over some of the reviews on here. A review is an honest opinion of a piece of gear that you have tried, whether you like it or don't like it, followed by questions and comments that actually are filled with pertinent information about the product that has been reviewed. Reviews are not for fighting or calling other members down. Reviews are not for blasting manufacturers either. If you have a negative review about a specific piece of gear(brand name and model), please don't come out with a thread on how that specific brand name is the worst in the world. For instance, if you've had a bad experience with a pair of Dynamite 7VP2s, state that info. Don't go blasting Dynamite and saying things like, "Dynamite is the worst gear manufacturer"(I made up the name...ok..didn't want to offend anyone) Wink

The reason we would prefer that you steer away from that type of review is because most of the time they only lead to fights, and we don't want that.

If the shoe fits.....etc., etc.,....Although, no, it wasn't directly particularly at you. In fact, it was just meant as a guideline for future reviews so members would know what is acceptable and what isn't.

A reveiw is to express your opinion on equipment that you have tired or have once or now used or tried on. And also to give any other person infromation or suggestions on equiptment on things they are looking to buy or are interested in. The rewveiws dont always have to postive. The can be negitave but do not be to offenose. Smile
