that sounds good until you catch one above the knee while you're closing your butterfly. Stopped the shot, but got a nasty bruise that made walking the next day a pain in the a$$. My pads have thigh boards and I wear volleyball knee pads, but pucks can always find a way. I the Reebok Pro model with the garter belt. $80 but well worth it. When you're 32 you start worrying about you knees. |

| That isn't the worst thing that can happen...I took my thigh boards off around June, and have gotten his once in the knee since, and that was this month. So I trade...one bruise per 7 months for lighter pads and better mobility |
