What is a good pair of goalie knee protectors to use that does not slip? I am using brown and it always slips past my knee when I am playing. What is a good pair of knee protectors that do not slip and hold well while playing?

I don't use any. The thigh boards and the knee stacks on my pads take care of that.

I use the built in knee pads in my N/Bauer One95 Supreme goalie pants. They are awesome. Don't even know they are there, but, have the extra protection. I also use the thighboards that came with my Smith 5000's and I really love the setup. Very Happy

i was thinking of trying the nike bauer pants...how bulky are they? would they fit in the narrower v3 leg channel? right now i have vaughn 8000 knee pads which i have attached to a garter belt, they rotate a bit but are good. one question for anyone who has them though, is do you have the straps on the inside or outside, i cant tell if im wearing them backwards lol

I just bought a pair of volleyball kneepads to wear. Just a little extra padding since I have bad knees to start with.

I tried the knee pads from my pants, but they weren't secure enough. And the RBK ones I bought were good, but sometimes slipped since i wear UA tights instead of socks... and the pants are slippery as all get out. But my Vball knee pads are great. Stay in play, and add some extra padding when I hit the ice.

I use the itech pro knee protectors and they are awesome. I took my thighboards off because a shot slipped under my thigh guard. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

No, they are not bulky at all. You just have to make sure to get the correct size of pants and they will fit correctly. The knee pads have this thick elastic strap that wraps around the back of your knee to hold them in place.
I have a size 33" waist and got a large size in the pants. Plus the pants are built like a tank. I will put up some pic's if you want to see them. Let me know in a PM or something.

Okay, so after some requests for pic's. for the Nike Bauer pant with built in knee pads, here are the pic's. Let me know if there is something else about the pants that you want to see.
Like I said previously, the pant is really quality and built like a tank. The padding is very stiff around the waist and will take a couple of wearings to start to break it in. Notice how in some spots on the pant, they have incorporated some weave material. I think this is sharp.

I took them off because they were pising me off big time. Whenever i skated they would get stuck in my breezers... much, much better without Smile

My RPS pads have thigh wraps, which are cool, cuz they don't get in the way of anything.
