Or you could just use the pads you used last year. Unless the don't fit

So anybody here know anything about the Epic 8600 pads and/or the 8600 C&A? I'm looking into getting those, and they fit real well and were comfortable, but kinda wondering how well they will wear/ how long they last etc.

Goose, I have the Epic 8600 C&A and so far I love it. Very comfortable, no stingers, extremely easy to move in it. I've had it for 1 season and so far I have had no problems with it. Great quality C&A for a great price, I would definitely recommend it.

I have the Vaughn 8600 gloves for nearly 6 months and they haven't given me any problems. For the price they're asking, I would recommend.

I tried the 8600 gloves, and I liked the blocker, but couldn't stand the glove. Why is the palm on them soo thick?! I could barely get my hand in it, not comfortable at all. But I did like the 8600 pads a lot, and leg pads are what I'm really looking for, so anybody use them?

I assume the Epic 8800 C/A is very similar to the 8600?

8800 is pro level, 8600 is the step down in quality/protection/etc.etc.

Its like a pancake.it's hard to close, but good if you like blocking with your glove. however,if you dont have strong hands, a shot that hits the lflat edge of the glove to turn, directing the puck into the net.

My V4s just came in.

They're 34+3 V4s with the old spec knee block and a single break below the knee and a sliding toe bridge. Didn't ask for the straps to run through the block, but it was a pleasant surprise.
