Is this a good chest protector, is it better than a reebok 6K, could I used it in a AAA game? Would you recommend me purchasing this one, I currently have a itech 4.8(crap)?

I do not know anything about the epic 8000 C/A but you might want to make the poll not so one sided...There may be other inexpensive C/As out there that you'll want to look into first.

It's not NHL spec, so it will be huge, and illegal next year. 8800 is the new prospec 8000.

8800 has better side rib protection then the 8000. I just returned a V3 C/A in exchange for an Epic 8800. So much more mobility, and the shoulders don't interfer with my mask as much. This C/A is better for guys who don't wear danglers. Mind you I did get vaughn to put the V3 arms on the Epic 8800. I found them to be a tad better protection over the Epic arms.

Yep my armor is epic 8000. Black with gold and white sholder pieces. Have always loved vaughn's chest armor. Wouldnt trade it for anything else. Provided your controling your saves and not just diving at it the armor protects you well. Only complaint is side of upper tricep is exposed if your hands are low so a butterfly rebound shot to the arm can hurt from the odd angle
