I bought these as I was getting sick of putting on wet gear, being cold at first, and being too hot with hockey socks once you're warm. These things are absolutely amazing! The rotation of the pads with the pants is perfect, it keeps you warm, but as soon as you take a minor skate, it cools you off. So you have the ability to have the best of both worlds. When you're done, you take them off and you're almost completely dry, no wet sticky mess.
The shirt is also great as the rubber dotting ads grip and your chesty stays in perfect position on your arms, no matter how much flailing you're doing.

Worth the dimes.
