I have the Pro Stock R8 glove, blocker, and leg pads. They are by far the best pads I have ever bought. Now that I am going into juniors, I want to buy the R10 pads. Does anyone have some feedback on the R10 equipment?

Hey

I've been using the Summit 7 trapper and blocker for a few months now (probably 30-40 games). The blocker is perfect but I have noticed the trapper gives off alot of pop outs. Also, it is still pretty stiff.

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem with the summits?

cheers

I just picked up a TPS R2 Special Edition stick last week. It's the one that's all chromed out. Shocked

I've only used it once, and this is my first ever non-wood stick, so far I'm pleased with it. Like any new stick it will take some getting used to, but I have a feeling I'll be happy with this one.

I just wanted to get my first impressions down while they're fresh in my head. I'm sure I'll have more to say about it in a month. I paid $85 for it, which apparently is a steal.

I only took a few shots clean off the stick, but it did it's job there. Playing the puck will take some getting used to, it's very lively. One instance I went to pass the puck up to a player in the neutral zone, just a nice easy saucer pass, and almost hit him in the chest!

I've been using the R2 for a couple months as well. I totally agree, it takes some getting used to. I'm assuming it's not the TPS but the transition from wood to composite.

The main issue I had initially was giving off rebounds. I've found with the extra spring in the stick it tends to pop the puck out a bit more. Simply adjusted the angle of the stick and it seems fine now.
