I bought a new set of RBK leg pads. The laces on the toe bridge keep getting cut by my skates. I have tied them in knots 3-5 times. I tried the Toe-Flex (which sucked. Don't buy one). I'm looking for new ideas. I'm re-lacing the pads at least once a month.

Any ideas?

try putting some tape inside that hole on your cowling, that way the laces arent touching bare metal, also maybe try something stronger than a skate lace, like some paracord. otherwise, just stop using toe laces.
