Has any one bought and used the new simmons 994 Pro. My old C/A was a simmons too and it held up good. But it is 10 years old now and I am getting alot of stingers need something with some more protection. The Claim this 994 is as good as the vaughn v3. And feedback would be great.

This is not really a review and perhaps should be in the chat section. However, I bought the 994 c/a about 5 months ago. I'm 6' 1" and went with the XL size. Very comfortable when on with lots of flexibility. No stingers to report on except one that hit the very bottom of pad (between pad and pants). Adjusted pants and fine since. For the money, this is a great c/a in my opinion.

I do not care for mine. I was really happy when the shoestring holding the arms to the chest section came undone during a game and I had a detached arm, completely exposing my schoulder.
