Hi all ! New here and hoping to be here for a while.I have been reading alot of the opinions on different pads and find myself verry interested in the sherwood 9990 pads.
Can'raelly find many people who have tried them (?) They seem to be pretty good pads. Any thoughts on these things ? Would help me decide

Let me be the first to welcome you to the forum Very Happy
I haven't tried the pads myself, but I've seen pictures and another goalie in my league used to have a pair... I'll try to get in touch with her and find out how she liked them.

Great pads as far as I can tell and I really dig that graphic. Here's a couple of reviews from another forum:

Well thanks for the welcome and a;so for the links . It made me like the pads even more but also got me thinking why aren't people using these that mutch? so I've been looking and reading more and there are alot good other pads .They all look good!!
It's like walking in a candy store when your 9 . One question I do have is what difference is there between a hybrid pad and a butterly specific pad! Will one allow you to do more than the other? [/img]

I did alot of looking around and did see and try the sherwood pads and compared them to others and I ended up with a pair of ul5's from simmons. I found that the sherwods were blocky like when I played with them And did not realy fit my body type

I'll have my seconde game in them this wed.. so I'll be able to talk a little more about how they work and react . Last time I had them on a little to snug Fine tunning is in order . Other interesting pads were SMITH but I just had to shop in my back yard ( no offense intended ) . The stores around here all have the same thing
RBK/ITECK and a few TPS . Plus you can only shop for so long!!! Rolling Eyes
