I've come to realize that my vaughn V3's in 34+1" have the right knee height but fail to fill the five hole as i am not incredibly good at flairing my feet to the sides, as my knees and hips dont bend like that, plus my pads dont curve much. I tried on rbk ps2s in 36 and the knee was wrong but the height was right. I was told that a curvy pad would suit me better so i have pickd some pads and i want opinions.
RBK Premiere series 3 (new ones for 09)
Bauer One95's
or is there a way to order vaughns but with more curve and no knee breaks cause i like the rbk style but the vaughn pads have always been a favorite?
also would i order 34+2 or is that not the same height as a rbk's 36"? |

Reeboks sizing runs tall. For me, i wear 35" in RBK but i fit perfect in a 36" Itech RX9. And you CAN custom order V3's with no break... itll take like 20 weeks though. _________________

The Reeboks come stock with a +1 sizing. so it was actually 36+1. If you go on goaliemonkey.com and click on leg pads it has a list of wait times for custom pads. _________________

| ended up buying some shiney new TPS R-10's. have the similar shape to the rbk, with a much more simple strap pattern and much much more flexible... should be very helpful wiith breaking them in fast. |

| yeah i took em out to practice last night. they are sooooo light and they handle rebounds like a dream. i actually feel like i can use them next game already and i've only been on them for 45 mins. DEFFINATELY an amazing pad. the only thing i didnt like is it came with nhl thigh wraps so i swaped it out for the thighboards off my old V3's |
