Just to clarify, I think the leg pads are fine.
Perhaps a bit simplistic, but, they did alright for me when I used them.
That is why I omitted them from my review. (that and I believe someone else has already reviewed them..) _________________ By the time you've read this, you've already read it. |

I think the 4.8 is a great piece of equipment... as long as you know you get what you pay for. I had the glove and blocker, and it was perfect for inline. When I made the transition to ice, I stayed with the set for about half the season before buying new ones. If I was only playing inline, I'd buy them again. _________________ That's what she said!

| I own the 4.8 chest and i think it was a great deal. I play ice with all caliber of players and i do sometimes take stingers but i did with my more expensive mckenney chest. I think it is great overall protection for the price |

I have the Itech 4.8 chest from a while back (the navy blue/black) one and it's okay... I mean you won't die from it but at the same time you may get a few bruises here and there. I was thinking about getting a higher model itech because i do like the fit and weight, just not the lack of protection at that model line. _________________ Itech X-Wing Pro C/A

| Didn't buy it from me did ya? I sold my blue 38" 4.8 Xwing set on ebay for very similar reasons. Upgraded to 12.8's, never looked back as far as protection goes. |
