Does anyone have any comments on these? I saw a set of the RX7 for about $850, the pads alone are around 500 but the rx9 are like 1300, anyone know why such the huge gap? _________________ Itech 12.8 X-wing pads/blockers/glove

Exactly the same gap between the 12.8's and the 7.8's.

RX9's are what the pro's use, pretty much to sum it up. They are a more durable and overall better pad _________________

It's qaulity. They use better materials, lighter materials, more durable materials. And the RX9s are made in Canada, the RX7s are made in China.
I would say it depends on how much you're playing. If it's only once or twice per week, the RX7's should be fine for what you need. It also depends on how long you want to keep the pads, if you're just going to replace them in two or so years, then get the RX7s. If you plan on keeping them for a while, then you should get the RX9's... |
