Ok so i have been running the helmet for over a year now and the thing still looks new. I scratched off the itech vynals and its super clean looking. Only thing i hate is the cage. My last cage wassoo flattened in the front it was pulling the sides of my helmet out. And touching the tip of my nose eventually. I replaced it with the same, square patterned "rectangle bared" cage and first shot to the face put an ugly bend. Itech claimed this design to be better but i cant see an nhl goalie wearing it without replacing the cage after ever shot to the face. My question is what other cages are offered for the NV pro fit 2 helmet other than itech's rectangle barred cage and their cats eye??

Ask Itechwarrior about it. I know he's got an NV7 and he's replaced the cage and backplate.

I do not have an NV7.
I have a 960, which I turned in to a 961. I also left the 960 larger backplate the way it was.
I honestly don't think there is any other options for that mask (NV7) without alterations. I've done some searching and I can't find anything that suggests it can be swapped out. |

I have an NV7 but haven't encountered the same problem as you. But then again I'm using a n/c cateye so it might be different. Hope you can find an alternative if you continue to have problems. _________________ Itech X-Wing Pro C/A

I have an ITECH goalie mask myself. I have the square cage, but as far as i know i have no problem with it. The only problem i found was the cage wires being too thick. I eventually got over this and either way getting the itech certified cat-eye.

yea no this is the one with the thin one. The pattern of the mask is squares, but also the actual wires used to make the mask are rectangular instead of circular like most masks... the bend alot easier
