I just recived my two necks guards i ordered after getting hit in the neck with a puck. So i thought i'd make a review.

First the Dangler

http://www.goaliemonkey.com/itnetech18.html

When i first attached the dangler to my helmet it covered my neck perfectly. No adjusting whatsover. I like the wide range it covers on my neck and fits perfect. I love it.

Second the neck guard

http://www.goaliemonkey.com/itech-goalie-neck-protector-n14.html

Ok my first impressions were wow this is big and is it uncomfterble? Its big for a reason. I put it on and then put my chect protector on and didnt even think i was wearing it. I looked in the mirror and i couldent see any exposed skin whatsoever. The neck guard is pretty comfterble. It really is protective and i like it alot.

I agreed with the first part of what you said about the Itech neck guard. It is uncomfortable to say in the least offensive way possible. I found myself ripping it off ten minutes within wearing it, and I wear a combo :\. Maybe its just my personal preference.

Not a fan of tps to be honest. I love sherwood sticks though. I Have a nike bauer stick for messing around/practice and my sherwood for big games etc...

Really? Not an Itech stick?

I have a bauer/nike collar and like I already stated...don't wear the dangler. Which by the way was again tested today...twice. One to the throat, one to the collarbone. Both no pain.

If you read the latter posts you'd understand but because you wrote up some of your conditioning I'll recap for you... Danglers-Designed to deflect pucks ONLY away from the throat where the mask may allow shots through. Collars-Protect the collarbone and throat from skates and deflection shots affording less protection for direct shots.

Each one serves a distinct purpose but doesn't give you the full benefit of the other. And personally, after about 5 seconds I don't even notice my collar...Danglers...not in this lifetime.

Not true... Nike sold Bauer to some investors and all the new equipment coming out in april will be Bauer with NO Nike.

i really like the clear throat protector because the neck guard that goes under your under your jersey get really itchy and annoying.

Well in my league you have wear both and it really sucks
