| Itech are VERY flexible. That's the point of the XWing system, and now the RX series and their breaks. Probably even more flexible than the Vaughns. |

Most of these pads come ready to use"off the shelf" broken in and the foams that they use nowadays, do not break down like in the older generation pads, so, chances are that they are not going to actually "break in" or "break down". I have a pair of 12.8 Xwings and have a pair of RX9's coming in this week as well. Cannot wait to try them out, but, I know that I will not be disappointed. _________________ www.thehockeyarmory.com |

| my brand new xwings took about 4 or 5 games to feel comfortable.. they needed to break in, but they don't have the flex points the RX series does. |

I did not notice any required break in with my 12.8 Xwings. _________________ www.thehockeyarmory.com |

The main break-in I found was the knee gussets (inside wing parts) sliding over the calf guards in the butterfly. They jammed a little at first, but about 2 games and the slid just fine.
Outside of that, the flex was pretty much the same as straight of the shelf. It took me a couple games to get the straps dialed in so I may not have noticed the flex break in, but I really don't think there was much. _________________ Just giv'er. |

Just got my RX9's!! Alot moreflexible than my 12.8's and very soft, almost dead without any rebound whatsoever. Nice and light as well. _________________ www.thehockeyarmory.com |
