ive never owned them, because there too expensive, but i have always wanted them ans have heard great things from people i know with them Very Happy

I found the Graf G50's to be very comfortable! I don't own them but have wore them before for about 30 minutes. I figured that I might as well give a review since no one else seems to be.

I had the Graf 100 for 2 years.
Not so a good skate...weird fitting and too heavy...(but it was the cheapest skate Very Happy

)
Now I have a Rbk, and I feel much more comfortable with them Cool

But I never tried the pro models =)

The footbed or sole , depends what you want to call it, is horrible. the skate itself is amazing

I have a pair of Graf 650's and I really like them. They are very comfortable and very light. Also, they have a very stout cowling, especially in the toe. The only thing that I haven't liked abou them is the blade makeup. I have noticed a little rust starting to develop on the sides of the blade of both skates. I take really good care of these skates and dry them off as soon as I get off of the ice and again when I get home and take them out to dry. I got a good deal and heard alot about the Graf's, plus I liked that they were made in Canada and not in China, like other skates.

I had a pair of 750s, I upgraded to G50s with an RBK cowling.

I changed the footbed to the gray Superfeet footbed. Yes, I am pretty fussy with my skates, but they are how you move around the crease so you definitely have to pay a lot of attention to them!

I was playing twice a week and they took about a month to break in. They are pretty stiff skates, but feel good now.

Stiff
High quality steel, doesn't chip off like RBKs or Bauers

But like any brand, they have a certain fit, and if it's not your fit, then forget it! That's like any skate, and has nothing to do with quality or anything.
If it's your type of fit, then it's the best skate, hands down.

just got g-50's...they are a wonderful skate going from a ccm 652 tack which was broken down, so now i feel like a can move a mile... with no pain...just gotta get new insoles!! but besides that they are the best skate i have ever skated in

I had to replace my aging Tacks and went with the Graf 750 (the 2008s are on sale, if you can find a pair!). My review:

1. Made in Canada quality. Very robust construction. The ankle area on the 750 is stiffer than the 650, but the 750 weighs about the same. Both are all-leather inside. The 750 footbed has a little more profile than the 650 footbed;
2. The blade on the 750 is shorter than my Tacks and the boot seems to force you to lean forward more - this will be an adjustment. On the other hand, push-off seems easier. Also, I seem to be able to get up to speed faster when chasing down stray pucks;
3. I've taken a few serious shots off the cowling with no problems so far.

Grafs are heated to take the shape of your foot. I took my pads into the store and put them on during the shaping process - this seemed to work well for me. The sales staff suggested taking the foot beds out after each use - apparently the screws will rust more quickly if you do not - sounds like good advice for any skates.

I am returning to playing the pipes this year and recently purchased a pair of Graf 750 Goaler Pro skates...I will keep you updated on what I think.
So far comparing them to the CCM Vector skates I have used in the last year, the Graf's are amazingly more comfortable!

main problem with the Graf, compared to RBK-CCM is that the blades are not interchangable.
That means two hundred bucks each time you want to change the blade, because you need to change the cowling with it.
I put RBK cowlings on my 750s this summer, and everything works pretty well... except that I have to sharpen then a little more often.

On another note, I ordered X Blades (www.xblades.net/en) for my goalie skats, after hearing so many good things about them.
I'll post a review when I've recieved and played them.

I've played 4 games in the 750s now - left foot is very comfortable, right still has some way to go but is much closer. I'd note the following:

1.I'm much faster getting up to speed when chasing down stray pucks - I've suprised myself (and some team mates) with how much faster I am;
2. Leg speed has increased. If I was 20 years younger, I'd probably notice even more of a difference;
3. Push-off is a little cleaner and more direct. The big downside is I ofter push too hard and have been sliding out of position or kicking posts from time to time.

Break-in seems to be moving right along. Don't believe posts that say these skates take 20 or 30+ games to break in. I'm not super fussy about my gear, but I'd predict full break-in easily within 10 games.
