I just found these, they look like good butterfly pads but is it too flat?

They advertise these in GoalieWorld magazine all the time, I agree they do look ridiculus, and they form a "V" when in the butterfly.

I couldn't imagine they have many sales. They're just about as expensive as top of the line pads from Vaughn or TPS, and the design doesn't make any sense Confused

He wears promask flatpads, but he has to have the boot like a regular pad because the NHL wouldnt allow him to wear the actual flatpad. His pads are not labeled because he is the only player, so they dont want to pay 50K to mark them.
