| my knee pads smell something horrible. any tips on cleaning/washing them (chemicals/detergent used)? please no "throwing away/burning" reposts. |

| Read about this a while ago for other pieces of equipment - pour boiling water on them, and let them dry out. Kills all the bacteria causing the bad smell. |

Take them in the shower. Run the water hot. Use mild soap or detergent. Should help tons.
Also try using a toothbrush and scrub away when the soap is on.
You can also use shaving gel (not shaving cream!!) |
