Had my first game with the new skates. Had them sharpened right before my first time out and I had to dull an outside edge. I have been wearing them for 30 min for the last 5 days and then at night I would tie them as tight as possible during the rest of the day.
The bottom of the boot is about 1/2" lower then my Riddell's and it pushed my legs pads up just enough to throw me off. I will have to adjust them before next game. My feet did hurt at the end of the game, but nothing a couple beers couldn't fix. No blisters either.
I may wear them for a couple more games and then see if I want to get them baked.
Has anyone else had their skates baked? Any thoughts against doing it?

Overall I would definitely recommend these skates. They fit my feet very well, and didn't give me any problems. If your foot is a little wider than normal, but not wide enough for a DD skate try these on.
Hope this helps.

I've had my skates baked and it felt fine. I always thought that it was in a way necessary to get the proper fit.

Baking speeds up the "break in " time in that the heat and mositure from just wearing a skate will break them in and give you a fit, baking does it now, vs in time.
remember if you bake your skates a t a pro shop youll not want to wear them for 24-48 hrs after to make sure its set.

I had mine baked, and they're awesome. And you can always get them re-baked if your foot changes (or something crazy like that happens...Confused )
