Well supposedly they modified the calf wedges to make them "legal" as per the new IIHF/NHL regs...but I didn't see a thing different about them.

Theres a little gap about 1/2" until the wedge starts (i think). And the knee straps dont run through the knee block. Uglier graphic.

It didn't even look that big. Still though, paying an extra 4 or 500 bucks for minuscule changes like that is just ridiculous.

Nah, I've sworn off most RBK pads until I give Smith a shot. And I'm not a fan of the P3 trapper either, hated in when I tried it on in store. And a blocker is a blocker...

All these first few posts basically saying "The catchers are AMAZING" suggests i shoulda got a BRIANS catches to match my BRIANS pads and blocker. I had my good old McKenny catcher. A little hard to shut but it did the job. Other then that the blocker and pads were GREAT! the most luckiest pads i have ever had. That is if your the superstitious kinda goalie like me.
