Ok, what the heck...I've searched GSBB and this forum and I can't find reviews on the brian's catcher/blocker...now that I'm getting new legs from them I'd like to know what their catch/block are like so I can finally match a set of equipment up.

Oops *editing*

Does anyone know where I can find reviews? Or HAVE a review? Preferably the Dx2 but I guess Zero G would work too.

i refuse to give up my old brians air hook. it's the greatest glove ever. i can only assume that the new ones are just as good. do yourself a favor and make the purchase.

Thanks PJ and GB, your words were helpful, however Cman's excellent (and obviously far more patient) finds were far more beneficial. It looks like once my pads get here I'll get the matching gloves. They sound amazing.

I own a brians blocker but i have no idea what the model is. It has the star on it and says brians on the bottom. I currently dont use it but it is a amzing blocker with a ton of protection.

I have the brians beast catcher and blocker and i love them sooo much i know this probably might not help but the glove is so comfortable breaks in really well and the pocket is a pretty good depth and the block is also very comfortable it provides superior protection and has this little black grip on the hand part

overall really nice stuff !! Very Happy

The new brians are very much like The new RBK stuff. However are very comfortable and easy to break in. I've owned brians stuff in the past without complaint. Deffinately get in a store and try them out who knows you might love em and buy em on the spot Razz

Today I was pissing the staff off at Perani's and I tried on the Zero G, Dx2 Pro and RX9 just because I like the graphic. I also tried all the new trappers and blockers and by far the best of all of them was the Zero G. I cancelled my Dx2 Razor catcher order and ordered a Zero G instead. It's light, comfortable as all heck and is probably the most pre-broken in catcher of all the 2009 models.

In my opinion the Zero G is the most innovative product for '09 out of Bauer, Vaughn, Brian's and Reebok.

I didn't try anything on of Reebok except the trapper. The pads/blocker are pretty much identical to the P1/P2...just a graphics update essentially.

Because it's the new model?

Exactly. I put my P1s next to the new P3 leg pads and there was only one small and unimportant difference. The graphics. Otherwise the pads are identical. The trapper seems to be the only thing Lefebvre is interested in updating.
