Well after months of shopping around, I have finally replaced my Mission Motion blocker and catcher.

I found this set of used, for a couple months, Battram gloves. The previous customer got custom graphics and the colours and design match my Vector pads perfect.

When I first got them, the first thing I noticed was the size difference. They are the new spec sizing. The quality of the gloves are awesome, they are really well made and comparable to most off the shelf pro gear I have seen in stores. I have been able to play a lot of hockey in the past week of having the gloves, I have hit the ice 5 times now with them. Right off the get go, everything felt better, even holding my stick feels better.

Catcher:
The catcher has tons of protection. It has a lot more adjustments and after tinkering I got it to fit perfect. On the ice I've received a couple blasts to the palm and did not receive a stinger. Which would have happened for sure with my old Motion. Another thing I really like about it, is how much protection there is on the back of the hand, which is perfect for covering pucks in scrums. I just have to get used to the smaller overall size of the glove.

Blocker:
The Blocker is very light and nice and tight on my hand. The finger protection is great, the way the side protection is I have a really tight grasp to my stick. I guess the only downside to all the protection is that I have a tough time grabbing my water bottle and aiming it to my mouth, hehe, Im sure I can get used to that.

Overall I am very happy with my purchase. And think I will be set for a while.

I agree with gimbo those look brand new, if you don't mind me asking how much were those and how long had the previous owner been using them?

Sorry the pic was taken when Battram made the gloves, so yes they are brand new in the pic. They are still in new condition, he only used them for three months, most puck marks came off with a magic eraser.

With shipping they were $250. Probably a little steep but I loved the graphics, and they matched my pads.

I figured I paid less than half price from a new set to get them broken in. Wink
