|
|
Hi I currently have a pair of Brians DX5 all black 32' pads, and a pair of Reebok X-pulse 6.0 35'+2 ... all the pads that I have owned have been used and I would like to purchase a pair of Vaughans because I heard they last long and are made in Canada, or are a Canadian company. I was thinking that if I sell my Brians I can get $100, My reeboks for $200, then I would have $300, I would then add $300 of the money I saved and purchase pads worth $600 ... What pair of pads should I purchase for this amount of money? should I get vaughans reeboks? and would I be able to purchase vaughans for this amount? All advice would be greatly appreciated
THANKS A BILLION

| Check Ebay for used vaughns... You're not going to get very much made in Canada product new for $600. |

| Smith's are very similar to Vaughn and they're not too much past $600. Also I think Simmons does a direct knockoff of one of the Vaughn pads right around that same price. Both are Canadian companies that manufacture equipment here in Canada. |

If you want made in Canada you wont find it new for $600, unless you catch Simmons or Smith on a good sale or in a mood to wheel and deal.
You can get used Vaughn Velocity 2 pads for $300-400 on eBay, Kijiji and craigslist and there are a good amount of them out there if you look.
If you need 11" wide pads this may be a problem again as most of the Vaughn or RBK pads for your price will be 12" wide, just as a note.
Simmons is closing out their Matrix line of pads for $599 + shipping:

Hey I said not to much past, not exactly $600.
And there's actually quite a few North American companies that produce pro level pads for less then $1000 USD. Just gotta look around for them. |
