|

Hey everyone, new poster to the forum here.
I'll be playing my first season of ice hockey this year, but I've been playing roller hockey for the last couple of years.
Once in a while a bunch of guys will get together and we'll rent out a roller rink for about an hour.
I just bought Reebok Revoke 7000 pads a few days ago and I'd like to practice in them, and my friends will be getting together this Sunday.
I'm a little apprehensive of using my pads on the roller surface, obviously they were a big investment and I'd hate to ruin them so quickly. I do need to practice, however, and I really don't want to pay another $150 for leg pad covers.
Is it alright to use my pads on the roller surface for an hour?
Thanks for the help! |

Dear Canuck17, hi there !
Iīm from Brazil and a rller hockey player. As we donīt have hockey stores here we buy our equipment once in a while when someone goes to Canada or US.
I can tell you i have a Heaton Helite IV pads since 2007, and itīs still in a really good condition. Of course they willdamage a little bit every game on roller hockey floor, but donīt worry to play just for a couple hours !!
Hope it helps !!
