Hey, Im new here, and have only been in the pipes (let alone playing hockey) for the past 2 years. However there's one issue with my pads that keep cropping up. My bottom straps that go around my skates are too long, and often get caught under neath my skates.
In order to fix this I always tie the straps together before going on the ice, but they always find a way loose towards the end. Would it be advisable to cut the straps down to only the hole I need? Or is there another way? |

I feed my boot strap into the loop of the buckle of my lower leg strap, the lower leg into the buckle of the 2nd and so on, keep all the straps pointing up.
Could cut it, but it isnt nessesary. |

| I'm definitely no expert on the subject, but perhaps some form of tape could hold it up? Might look a little ghetto, but it could get the job done if it holds. |

| Id just cut it to be honest. you dont need to cut it all the way to the hole you need. Leave a couple after it in case. But cut enough so it doesnt drag on the ice and get stuck under your skate. |
