Okay boys/girls, I thought in honor of my new gear being shipped today that I would start a new topic for all of us to show off the gear we have now......no matter how new or old it is. For tonight I will just be posting pictures of my pads, blocker and trapper that I received pictures of today from Pete. When the gear arrives I will put all the gear together and take some pics.

Anyway, here is the finished products......more pics to follow.......maybe even one or two of my happy dance.Laughing

Smith 5000 series

I still think you should have replaced the white with the black, it would have matched better. But there your pads...

Possibly, but then the whole setup would have a lot of dark on it. Besides that, I'm going to be getting a white Team Canada jersey as soon as I can find one in the goalie cut.

For those that are worried, here's a picture of the jersey that it will match. I will have to buy the new jersey since the red seems to be a lot brighter then mine.

That's definitely what I'm going with if my current jersey doesn't match close enough.

Email this guy. Skates2468@aol.com He has a store on Ebay store called JUNIOR1CATS HOCKEY. The link is www.junior1catshockey.com Basically, he can get or make you any pro jersey, in any size(including goalie cut), with the pro logos and everything for a decent price. The Team Canada RBK jersey in my other post with my name and number sewn on (pro twill numbers and letters) will only cost me $95. Considering a replica jersey here in Moncton costs over $350 with no numbers and no goalie cut size, this is a pretty good price.

The size of that blocker amazes me. That doesn't feel too bulky for you?

the only other blocker i have to compare it to is my heaton Pro-Z and the Xceed is slightly (emphasis added) smaller than that but much lighter. i guess it does look huge in those photos, but the dimensions are NHL spec so go figure. btw those are 33" pads if that helps.

also, i had to set the timer on my camera and rush into that frame so that's why my positioning doesn't look so good. that and my glove is harder to keep open than it is to keep closed Laughing

yeah, they are the senior pro model and they measure 11" across. i'm not sure why the pads look so huge in those pics? hope they come across like that in real life Very Happy
