| Hey everyone, I have a question about the good and bad things of black goalie equipment. I know I have heard that you can't see the puck when It comes to you but what else is there? |

| Black equipment can become an issue for the referee's and linesman on the ice. They can have trouble spotting the puck in your equipment if you trap it and may witch could casue them to blow the play dead if they think you have it and you don't, or allow the play to continue and risk the puck squirting loose. Thats the same reason I don't use black tape on the knob of my stick, the ref might confuse the top of my stick for a puck, as I use a lot of tape at the top because I like to poke check and don't want to risk throwing my stick away. It really depends on the official. Other than that, I its a matter of personal preference. I have always used multi colored pads, but some goalie's feel white pads make them look bigger, but they are a pain in the butt to keep clean if you are anal about puck marks. |

yes i don't recommend black pads, and if you dont want white, buy white and buy some paint and then your problem is solved and it works well when you put on all neon green pads and stick because forwards are focusing on that and not shooting so its better for you. _________________ ROSEVILLE!!!!!!!
