I took a spill onto my azz last night and it made me realize just how little tailbone and butt protection my pants have.
I'm curious what other or more experienced 'tenders have used, or are using. What pants have you found offer the most butt padding?

I am currently using Vaughn V2 7000's and love them but I had a quick look at some Reeboks the other day and they seemed better, padded that is....

Cheers,

m

My pants have the standard wrap from my stomach all the way around and a small and mostly useless tail bone pad. Other then that there's no padding behind the thigh rolls on my pants. Not much reason for us to have padding where we almost never take shots.

For the most part I agree. But the Reeboks that I looked at seemed to have pretty solid tailbone protection and I was just wondering if anyone does have pants with sturdy butt padding... Seems as though there must be a manufacturer out there that puts a similar amount of effort into tailbone protection for goalie pants as they do for player pants.

Perhaps someone with Reebok pants could shed some light into what I saw...?

Cheers,

m

Edited for spelling.... Rolling Eyes

I don't know, my Itech 4.8's had no protection in the rear. I moved onto RX9's, and I've definately found out that I do have padding back there. I suppose it depends on the type of pants you have.
