I got one, and it's workin great, I'd recommend em
but dude jus go with the normal mask, cat eyes are over-rated. |
Which model olie do you have? I'm trying to get an idea. I have a 23" measurement on my head but wide cheek bones. My profile 2500 works well and has plenty of room. I tried an envy 7 fit 3 and it was way too tight for me.
I ask because I'm looking at the Sr. Small MA2000 or Sr Small MA7000. The MA7000 is suppose to be a wider fit but the small is 24-26" circumference. The small in the MA2000 is 22-24". |
I really have no idea, i think it's one of the older models...i'll check tomorrow and get back to u. |
That would be much appreciated. |
Alright it says on there
"Model: #8000
MA9900
Sr. Small"
I think i posted a pic of it on here somewhere, i'll try to get that to u. |

You're playing with the MA9900? People have been classifying that mask as a "Widowmaker," as in poor protection and can break easily. If it's working for you then it must be a decent mask. Don't worry about it though. I ordered a Vaughn VM7500 since they make a wider mask for those of us with wide heads. I also, went straight bar since the cert. cat eye from Vaughn is also garbage. Thanks anyways for answering my questions. |
haha i've really had no problems other than a bent cage here and there...and for the record this thing is the widest mask i've ever used and has awesome visibility.

I gotta see this.
Also to note that the MA9900 Olie mask is about $150 in most places. _________________ Simmons 994 32+2" | Simmons 994 Blocker | Simmons 993 Glove | Simmons 994 Pants | Rbk 6k Fluery Stick | Heaton Helite Z Pro CA | Maltese Combo | Hackva 2608

I was merely posting the price incase anyone was interested in getting one. One other question, does it come with a sweatband? or is it just padding. _________________ Simmons 994 32+2" | Simmons 994 Blocker | Simmons 993 Glove | Simmons 994 Pants | Rbk 6k Fluery Stick | Heaton Helite Z Pro CA | Maltese Combo | Hackva 2608

it has like this felt stuff or something all over inside it, and it feels sooo good so that soaks up all the sweat _________________ Pads-Simmons 993. (995's are on the way)

Good to know. So it seems like a pretty good overall mask. If it doesn't work out with the VM7500 I'll take a look at this one. _________________ Simmons 994 32+2" | Simmons 994 Blocker | Simmons 993 Glove | Simmons 994 Pants | Rbk 6k Fluery Stick | Heaton Helite Z Pro CA | Maltese Combo | Hackva 2608

The Vaughn is on backorder so I called goaliemonkey and cancelled the order. I'm gonna go with this MA9900 from Olie with a pro cateye cage on it . _________________ Simmons 994 32+2" | Simmons 994 Blocker | Simmons 993 Glove | Simmons 994 Pants | Rbk 6k Fluery Stick | Heaton Helite Z Pro CA | Maltese Combo | Hackva 2608

I have a cert cateye now but it sucks. I'm also not much for straight bar since Itech blows at them and that's the only real experience I have with them. So Pro cat-eye is what I want to try out next. Worse case scenario I order a staright bar cert later on. _________________ Simmons 994 32+2" | Simmons 994 Blocker | Simmons 993 Glove | Simmons 994 Pants | Rbk 6k Fluery Stick | Heaton Helite Z Pro CA | Maltese Combo | Hackva 2608
