I'm looking for advice on knee pads or any customization any Simmons users have done to there knee landings.

I'm experiencing knee pain when going into butterfly. I've never had knee problems before and i have not had any issues with my Matrix 3's until now. I dont think its the pads. Middle to the bottom of my knee cap is where its painful.

Its so bad im considering getting some volleyball knee pads or getting a vaughn or reebox knee pads, even though they seem to protect you from the puck which isn't my problem. The thigh boards on the Matrix 3's are amazing and cover everything. I've also tried changing how i strap the pads up, but have had no luck.

If you have experienced this, please help!!!

I think you should try and borrow some knee pads from a friend, see if they make a diffrence, then go out and buy a pair.
