| hey i am looking for a new pair of pads. i currently have a set of TPS xceed but the stitching is pulling away form the pad so my leg brace is falling apart. i am more of a stand up goalie but i am pushing myself to learn more of a hybrid style because i am so small so i am looking for more of a hybrid pad compared to the xceed what do you suggest |

Well if you want the most pad for the money and you wont be playing in the NHL you had best go with Simmons, Smith or Brown.
The exceed is a nice pad, a great butterfly pad, and aside from some straping issue works well as a hybrid pad.
You need to look at the 995, 994 simmons pads, the 585 as well, call pete smith and he can steer you in the right direction, or John Brown and he can hook you up as well. _________________
