Okay so i got a new chest protector from my brother for an early christmas gift, and i never really had a new chest protector ever, and im wondering if it being stiff is normal? its brand new, and it fits good, its just really stiff.
So is that normal??

yes, most brand new chest pads are going to be stiff and will loosen up over time.

You've got a nice brother. And yes - it'll gradually loosen up the more you wear it and sweat in it, it'll soften up the materials.

when i first got my rbk 6k chesty, i couldn't touch my right hand to my left ear at all. it takes time to wear in and get loose, some people suggest putting in the bathroom when you have a hot shower to get it steamy. but i just think wearing it will work itself out.

Wow to the C/A protector. That's really nice stuff.
My 6.0 was the same, Itech. I couldn't believe how stiff it was. To the OP, just wear it a half dozen times, and it should loosen up for ya! _________________ 6'1" 185 lbs.
