| I have heard of sliders for inline roller goalies. I have never seen them. I play roller hockey and want some. I cant slide and want to. I dont want to use chemical sprays that will transfer onto the playing surface, it can injure other players. Does anyone know where to get them? Do you make them yourself? If so, how? What material? Any information, pictures, or web links would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

You may want to check out Mission Hockey. Many of their roller pads have these. They are usually plastic pieces that get sewn onto the pads. They may sell replacements (I honestly can't remember).
You can make your own by cutting high density plastic to shape, and having a local shop put them on for you.
Also, back in the day, I'd seen some goalies coat their landing gear and other applicable surfaces with two-part apoxy. I wouldn't recommend this, as it is permanent. The nice thing is, you just add another layer when it starts to wear. _________________ SAVE! |
