I recently purchased some V2's and I was just wondering what the optimal way of wearing them were. How tight or loose do you wear the straps on Vaughan Pads?

V2's = 7th hole for me currently but am working on it. I may go to the 6th.
I used to be at the 8th hole in my Simmons.

| mine is on the 4th hole. so starting from the hole that would make the strap as tight as it can go i am on the 4th one. |

| I don't wear Vaughn, but I tend to leave 3 holes left to the end of the strap, on all straps except the one behind the knee, I keep that one rather right to hold the pad too my knee. |

I think I'm the same here. Pretty loose.
Actually, one of my straps is getting cut very near to its base. Anyone know how to prevent this further? If it did break, is my only option to send it back to Vaughn for repair? |

I am the same as above. On my V2's, I wore them very loose, and I wear them very loose on my DX2's as well.
