Not all goalies will wear the same brand for every piece of equipment.

My new pads are white and baby blue so when shooters look at them they are reminded of the sky, sunshine and happiness.

In that case... my future pads will be mostly black with red accents, and will represent anger, frustration and aggression.

But a happy, thinking about cloud-watching shooter is probably going to be more distracted than a shooter that is angry, frustrated and aggressive, most likely at their lack of goals.

IMO, it'd be better if you went with mostly black, and orange and white strips. But the ones you have planned out sound pretty sweet as well Very Happy

having recently gone from white to mostly black in the last 2 seasons i find that i am getting a lot more calls from the refs because they are having a more difficult time picking up a loose puck laying on my black pads even though I haven't covered it. other than that its just looks.

If you're not playing in the NHL then just go with whatever looks cool. You're spending a lot of money on pads so go with whatever you'll be happy looking at for a couple of years.
