Any body have one of these or anybody have any opinions. I know i get a couple shots that catch the wrong spot in the rib area every once in a while. im thinkin of gettin one.

I doubt it will do that great. And if you're facing the shot, you shouldn't be getting hit in the ribs.

well maybe ur never out of position because u are perfect but some goalies do and besids it is also for your collar bone

They make neck gaurds that can do that

those neck guards are really uncomfortable and the plastic ones sometimes pucks get by those

for some reason i have very little protection on my ca between upper ribs and just under my pit. it doesnt hit directly but skims the area. it sucks.

It sounds like you need a new c/a and this thing is expensive enough to just buy a c/a.

If you're getting hit there, it may be a good idea for you. You can never have too much protection.
As for the clavicle protection, I have one of the Heaton padded jerseys that has that protection built in. I don't wear it anymore since my RBK C/A does that job pretty well, but it's something you may want to look into.

It's not so much being afraid of it FS... more of wanting to prevent injuries. Sorry if that only makes sense to me. Rolling Eyes

That being said mind you, I personally wouldn't buy an undershirt for added protection... some minor bruises that you may get as a result of NOT having the shirt are worth dealing with, IMO.
