My sister is trying to become a yoga instructor. She has to make up different types of sessions for different people. She is going to use me as part of her training so Im excited. We get to base the sessions on what ever a goalie needs.

I started with yoga and quited after a month because i simply have no time for anything more than ice hockey and school... but it's a cool thing to strech and i will start it as soon as i will have time because my back problems are going bigger and bigger. It hurts whatewer i do even if i just sit or sleep or go for a walk...damn. i think it is time for yoga now.

kind of off topic, but i mentioned earlier that i tore my acl. i had an mr arthrogram and as it turnes out its not my acl!!! i just severly bruised the bone on the inside (idk how but whatever). according to my doctor it may require minor surgery, but most likely i will only need steroid injections. I see a specialist on wed. to find out which, and when i can go back to playing.

there is a great a book titled REAL MEN DO YOGA.
Being old I have been active with my yoga, yoga aids in flexibility sure but it also helps remove lacticcacid from the mussels after use, much as an exercise bike ride does, but it adds a mussel and mental cool down for those are so intensely focused and contorting as we goalies must at times. Yoga also helps prevent many injuries do to increases in range of motion.
for the mind in the quite space it can also help to center you
