I was wondering what i could do...like drills and stuff and tips on how i can help up high with my glove and blocker.First off a have abad habit of when i go down my gloves drop right to m¥ side. so i know i need to keep them up...but also when a shot comes mainly glove side i tend to not fully extend my arm and get scored on as a result...i need help with breaking this habit! thx for the help

off ice, we do the tennis ball drills to develop this part of our game...

Tennis balls can help tons, like Efe said. I usually bounce them against the wall from about 3-5 feet away. In your case, throw them to a point just above your shoulders, and it'll force you to get in the habit of keeping your glove up.

use a racquet ball its much faster.
but you should also just make sure to keep your gloves up and out in front, its not that hard to remember if you make a point of practicing it.

It's not so much a problem of remembering, it's more or less of a bad habit. Slight difference.

But yeah; just keep practicing it and eventually it'll come naturally.

Use tennis ball throw them and catch them or play dogde ball.

If you practice enough you will flinch 99% of the time when sombody punches you and put you will use your hand to stop it.
