fs just do it on youtube. please, its so easy. then you can delete it later, or disable comments, or only let friends view it, and that stuff.

So I had my sister film my game the other night, and she's 12.

OH MY GOD. It made me queasy to watch. She kept playing with the zoom function, and tried to get my face under my mask, while I was moving around. Rolling Eyes And then she thought she was good enough to follow the puck, but the camera just bounced up and down.

I told her I appreciated the efforts, but I couldn't re-watch my game past the first period for fear of barfing Laughing

I use a digital camera to record every practice and game. It only cost $100, and it records in semi-HD (1280x720p). I set the tripod up on the far side of the red line. I've also made a clamp that will let me mount the camera to beams if need be. I don't have anyone to record me, so that isn't really an option, but I really like the stability of a tripod or clamp.

It's not that hard to edit out the downtime, and it's nice for not only examining your mistakes but also putting together the occasional highlight video.
